Special Issue: Nanomechanics and Nanomaterial Modeling - 2017

Nanomechanics is a very specified branch of mechanics interesting in studying fundamental of mechanical behaviors (i.e; static, bending, buckling, stability, vibration, damping, creep, … etc). In addition, the multipysics behaviors of Micro/Nano-electromechanical systems (MEMS & NEMS) are considered as Nanomechanical behaviors. Both nano-structures and macro/micro structures manufactured from nanomaterials are modeled and simulated by molecular dynamic simulation, modified continuum theory, and energy equivalent model. 

This special issue seeks contributions that explicitly address new models and theories of nanomechanics and nanocomposite. Researchers working in areas of modeling and simulation of nanostructures and nanocompsoites encouraged to submit articles to the following issue.
