As of October 2017, Journal of Applied and Computational Mechanics (JACM) utilizes "Plagiarism Detection Software (iThenticate)" for checking the originality of submitted papers in the reviewing process.

Editors of JACM are committed to run a similarity check before final publication to make the correct decision in the evaluation process. The JACM will assess the level of plagiarism for submitted papers. If plagiarism is detected, we will notify the author(s) and ask them to meticulously rewrite the text in the revision stage. If the plagiarism level is greater than 15%, the submitted manuscript is automatically rejected.
